The deathworm feeds on any practically any animal. It can take down all of its foe with it's deadly acid. Though typically opts to feed on smaller animals, such as the rabbit-like jerboa, native to the Gobi Desert, it can sometimes even be observed successfully preying on larger animals, such as Przewalski's horse. The Prezewalski's horse is one of the few remaining wild horses, and is currently endangered. The Mongolian Deathworm may be partially responsible for it's endangered status.
